This information describes the terms and conditions of use of the Espaço Petrus - Decoração de Exteriores, Lda. website. Above all, we want our customers to be satisfied!
General terms and conditions
These terms and conditions refer to the use of this website as well as the use of the online store and all products purchased therein. By using this website and associated services or by making purchases, the user agrees to the terms and conditions of use. Espaço Petrus, Lda reserves the right to change or update this information at any time and without prior notice.
1. Deliveries
You have 14 business days to communicate any intention to exchange or return an item. After this period, exchanges and returns will not be accepted. For this purpose, the only official form of communication is via email (geral@espacopetrus.pt).
Please note that for this purpose, the plant/item purchased must have exactly the same characteristics as when it was received. We will not accept exchanges and/or returns of plants that show damage, such as missing leaves, broken stems, or signs of dehydration.
Depending on the reason for the return, the return costs will be borne by the buyer.
2. Promotions and Promotional Codes
The promotional codes and promotions presented online are independent and do not affect physical stores in any way.
2.1
Purchases made with the Summer Promotion discount, which runs from July 1 to July 31, 2025, are only valid for purchases of plants. If you wish to purchase other items to add to the same shipment, please contact us by email, WhatsApp, or phone before placing your order.
2.2
Brazilian grass, Lippia Nodiflora mini olive trees, and other items that are not in stock and must be ordered are not covered by the campaign.
2.3
All external promotional codes, other than those from gift cards (with rare exceptions), cannot be used on the following products: Brazilian Grass, Lippia Nodiflora, Gift Cards.
2.4
Any external promotional codes from partners are limited to one purchase per user.
3. Gift Cards:
How it works:
1. Select the desired value for the Gift Card.
2. Add the card to your shopping cart.
3. Fill in your billing information.
4. Select the “Pick up in Store” option and proceed to payment.
5. You will receive the Gift Card and its promotional code at your email address.
6. Forward or print the email you received and give the Gift Card to the intended recipient.
Terms of Use
The Espaço Petrus Gift Card is valid for a period of 12 (twelve) months from the date of purchase and can be used one or more times, both in the physical store and in the online store at www.espacopetrus.pt
The available balance and expiration date of the card can be checked in person at the Espaço Petrus store or by contacting us via email.
Use in physical stores:
At the time of payment, the cardholder must present the Espaço Petrus Gift Card and provide the promotional code contained in the email.
Use in the online store:
When completing the purchase at www.espacopetrus.pt, the customer must enter the corresponding promotional code. If the total purchase amount exceeds the balance available on the Gift Card, the remaining amount can be paid using any payment method available on the online platform.
The Espaço Petrus Gift Card:
Cannot be exchanged, resold, or refunded, in whole or in part;
Cannot be converted into cash, bank credit, or another gift card;
Will not be replaced or refunded in case of loss, misplacement, or theft.
Final Provisions:
Espaço Petrus reserves the right to change, suspend, or update the terms of use of the Gift Card at any time, without prior notice, and undertakes to disclose such changes through its official channels.
In the event of a dispute, Portuguese law shall apply, and the court of the district where Espaço Petrus is headquartered shall have jurisdiction, with express waiver of any other.
4. Gift packaging
If you would like to give one of our plants as a gift, simply send us a message before completing your purchase and we will be happy to send it to the recipient in beautiful gift wrapping.
5. Forms of communication
By using this website, you agree to be contacted by us through various means of communication (email, telephone, social media, among others). By communicating with us, you agree that all documents or messages will be stored by us.
6. Other considerations:
6.1
All plants are carefully wrapped so that they are not damaged during transport.
Any problems with the shipment must be reported within 24 business hours via email, accompanied by photographs.
The plants shipped may not be exactly the same as the photos due to the high stock of some varieties, but we will take care to send plants that are as close as possible to the photo.
6.2
Please take the following factors into account: Color changes due to the quality of the photograph, season of production, or lack of sun exposure during shipping; Variegated plants may show other color variations, but will still be variegated; Plants with flowers may no longer be in bloom at the time of shipping.
After receiving the plants, do not subject them to thermal shocks, always bearing in mind that they come from greenhouses and are more fragile due to shipping.
6.3
Espaço Petrus, Lda cannot be held responsible for the mortality/failure/unsuccessfulness of delivered plants/trees, as there are many factors that determine the success rate, which are difficult for us to predict. All plants are delivered in accordance with applicable production/storage standards and customs.
6.4
Espaço Petrus, Lda, as the seller, guarantees the buyer the supply of products in good commercial condition, taking into account our technical knowledge. The future behavior of the delivered product will always be conditioned by the care given by the buyer, always taking into account the variables of the region, environment, agronomic and atmospheric conditions, and crop operation techniques. Therefore, the growth of the products and the results obtained do not depend solely on the quality of the products delivered, and Espaço Petrus, Lda cannot guarantee their evolution, even if it offers advice and suggestions to that end.
Under no circumstances shall the liability of Espaço Petrus, Lda exceed the price of the products delivered.
6.5
Prices and specifications are subject to change without notice. Espaço Petrus, Lda declines any responsibility for any errors published on the website.
6.6
All refunds that Espaço Petrus, Lda has to make for reasons beyond our control will be deducted from the amount of the expenses inherent to the transaction.
